WHAT TO EXPECT

Before treatment, a numbing cream will be applied to the area for an hour. You will feel sunburned, and expect some swelling and redness for a few days. Applying cool compresses and bacitracin will help the area heal. (a long weekend of relaxing time for you)

Patients often notice an immediate improvement within a week after a single Morpheus treatment, with smoother skin, reduced pore size, and a brighter complexion. The strategic fat loss of your treatment (nasolabial folds, chin) is seen within a few weeks whereas the skin tightening effects are seen when the collagen and elastin begin to restructure- 2-3 months.

IPL Photofacial

Intense Pulsed Light Therapy is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment designed to improve the appearance and quality of the skin. This advanced technology clears undesirable brown spots, sun damage, vessels and rosacea, revealing clearer, more beautiful skin. Reduction of these spots can restore a natural even skin color and complexion.

We offer 2 modes of IPL, the InMode Lumecca and the Cynosure Mag G to meet your specific needs and accommodate your busy lifestyle. We can offer a package of treatments to obtain optimal results. The treatments take 30 minutes and are scheduled 3-4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments are recommended once a year.

HOW IT WORKS

As the handpiece glides over the area being treated, specialized pulses of light are delivered into your skin and target brown spots, sun-damage and vessels without causing harm to the surrounding skin. Once these targets absorb the energy they are destroyed and will slowly disappear through your body’s natural healing process.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Before the optimized pulsed light handpiece is used, a gel is applied to your skin where you will receive treatment. You will also be provided eye shields to protect yourself from the light during treatment. The treatment will begin with the provider guiding the handpiece over the treatment area. You will feel cooling while the handpiece is gliding over the treatment area to provide a comfortable session. You may also feel a slight rubber-band like snapping when the energy is being delivered into your skin which disappears almost immediately however, a warm sensation after the treatment is common. Depending on the size of the area, treatments can take just minutes.

For a few days after your treatment, you may feel like you have a mild sunburn, possible bruising if broken blood vessels are specifically targeted- but can resume your normal day to day activities immediately following treatment.

HOW IT WORKS

These are prescription medications injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines. When you squint or frown, the muscles between your eyebrows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold. Over time, as your skin ages and loses some of its elasticity, these repeated contractions can cause persistent frown lines. Botulinum toxin type A – the active ingredient – acts on nerve endings in muscles to prevent muscle fibers from contracting.

WHAT TO EXPECT

During treatment, which usually takes about 10-20 minutes, your doctor will inject the neurotoxin into the muscles in your forehead and around lips. No anesthesia is required; however, your physician may use a topical anesthetic or cold pack to reduce any discomfort. You may begin to see visible smoothing as early as 2-3 days after injection. The typical duration of effect was up to 3 months but Daxxify may last significantly longer, up to 6 months.

HOW IT WORKS

Your skin naturally contains hyaluronic acid (HA), which provides moisture, volume, and structure that help it appear smooth and refreshed. Your skin produces less HA over time as we age.

During treatment, which usually takes about 30-60 minutes, your doctor will inject the filler- many of which have anesthesia in the filler.  There will be immediate results, after just one treatment. Common side effects include swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site. These usually resolve in a few days. In areas like the lips, it can take 7-10 days for the swelling to resolve, and to appreciate the final results. WHAT TO EXPECT

Because the dual treatment only minimally impacts the skin’s surface, recovery time is quick. Typically, you can resume regular daily activities the same day as your treatment although due to some redness and swelling you may experience a day or two of “social downtime”. You may see results in facial veins immediately after the procedure along with a darkening of the brown spots. These spots will flake off over the next one to three weeks, revealing a glowing appearance. Lastly, you will see progressive results on any fine lines, wrinkles or scarring over the next six months as your skin naturally responds to the treatment

AQUAGOLD microneedling

Aquagold is a revolutionary microneedle device that contains 24 karat needles, each of which is smaller than a hair follicle. This device delivers products such as platelet-rich-plasma, dermal fillers, muscle relaxants, retinol, and antioxidants directly into the skin. Applying anti-aging products directly under the skin allows them to be absorbed much more effectively and with a much longer duration of effectiveness because these products do not have to bypass the natural protective barrier of the skin. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is the primary ingredient in the treatment. It offers the following benefits:

• Stimulates collagen and elastin production to thicken and tighten thinning skin

• Acts as an antioxidant and has hydrating properties

Hyaluronic acid or HA filler (Juvederm, Restylane) for super hydration, firmness, elasticity and texture. Superficial acne scarring can be treated with micro-hyaluronic gels. This provides a natural-looking increase in skin suppleness.

Botox or Xeomin to shrink pore size and reduce sebum production. Reduces redness from rosacea and overactive capillaries. (Toxins used in Aquagold Fine Touch will have no effect on muscle, but reduces pores, sebum, restricts capillaries to reduce redness, your skin will return to you ‘normal’ after approx. 4 weeks. The muscle relaxants provide a natural, gentle smoothing of the skin.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Patients may experience slight redness depending on how sensitive their skin is. This will subside in 10 mins to 1 hour. Results of Aquagold Fine Touch can be seen immediately, the skin is left hydrated and glowing. Results continue to improve over the coming days and weeks after having an Aquagold facial treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The handpieces will glide over the predetermined treatment areas while you sit or lie down in our treatment room. Treating the entire face can take approximately 30-60 minutes. If you would like to treat a specific area, such as the delicate areas around your forehead or eyes, the procedure can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. Since there is no downtime with TempSure, you can return to your normal routine immediately. After the procedure, your skin may feel noticeably tighter and more radiant.

Individual results will vary, depending on the concern(s) you are looking to address. Additionally, new collagen growth can take time. Ideally, 3-5 treatments are recommended at 4-week intervals to maximize the collagen rebuilding process. You may experience slight redness after the procedure, which is caused by the skin’s elevated temperatures during treatment, but it will quickly subside.
